You won’t just manage accounts, you’ll champion them. You’ll be the voice of the customer, a strategic partner, and a key player in helping WENDT deliver innovative solutions that power the circular economy.
As a Regional Account Manager, your goal is simple: grow relationships, drive revenue, and ensure customer success.
You’ll own the customer experience across your territory—supporting existing accounts, identifying new opportunities, and making sure WENDT remains the go-to partner for both aftermarket services and future capital equipment projects. Here’s what you’ll do:
Customer Champion:

- Be the trusted advocate for your customers inside WENDT
- Build strong, lasting relationships through regular site visits and engagement
- Ensure customers feel supported, heard, and confident in their operations
Drive Growth:

- Identify and pursue aftermarket sales opportunities within your territory
- Generate leads for capital projects and collaborate with internal sales teams to close deals.
- Expand WENDT’s footprint by developing new customers and strengthening existing partnerships

- Visit customer sites to understand operations, uncover needs, and spot opportunities
- Capture and communicate field insights to internal teams (Sales, Engineering, Service, and Marketing)
- Help ensure installations and equipment are running smoothly and efficiently

- Track and manage opportunities from start to finish in Salesforce
- Coordinate across teams to deliver solutions that meet customer needs
- Keep a pulse on your territory—understanding customer goals, challenges, and future plans

- Bring your knowledge of shredding systems and scrap recycling to every conversation
- Clearly communicate WENDT’s value and differentiate our solutions
- Stay informed on market trends, technology, and competitive activity

ABOUT YOU
You are a relationship builder, problem solver, and strategic thinker who knows how to turn conversations into opportunities.
- 10+ years of experience in the scrap recycling industry
- 5+ years in sales, account management, or customer service
- Strong understanding of automobile shredding systems and recycling processes
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and confidently
- Proven ability to manage relationships and move opportunities through the sales cycle
- Experience with Microsoft Office, Teams, and CRM tools like Salesforce
