Double articulating feed rolls permit independent positioning
of each feed roll. This allows the upper roll to be raised to
feed and compress bulky materials while the lower roll continues
to maintain contact with the feed stock
entering the mill.
Independent hydraulic motors drive each feed
roll and permit independent speed and direction variances to
clear
obstructions or jams.
