Wendt offers a Radial Feed Conveyor to provide maximum flexibility and minimum downtime. With this feature unshreddables can be evacuated from the downstream system while continuing to run online
without risk to personnel, also large systems with parallel downstreams can run their lines independently or together.

Systems are being built larger and with greater throughput than ever before. This makes the materials handling choices ever more critical to maintain a consistently high quality finished product. Wendt's design solution calls for an aggressive decline for the vibrating feeders to keep the materials moving and thin. When combined with today's large diameter, deep field, electro-agitating scrap drums this provides optimum opportunity for scrap cleaning.

The selection process is based on a customers brand preference for their new system. Scrap Drum technology has progressed offering Electro-Agitation with either one flip (2 coils) or two flips (3 coils). Ferrous cleaning can be further enhanced with the use of Air Systems including Z-box, Cyclone and Fan. Hand picking stands are sized according to the flow. Our largest system utilizes four hand picking conveyors. The collected product is on a reversing conveyor that delivers product to one of two radial stacking conveyors.
