Have you heard the news? Heavy Media is dead!

An X-tract Separator is a dry separation process which serves as an excellent and cost effective alternative to dense media separation without the environmental concerns.

Now, instead of shipping residue to a heavy media plant, a scrap yard can process residue at their location, produce a high quality finished product and market it directly to the secondary marketplace.

Finders are widely adopted

Eddy Current waste streams still contain significant amount
of metals. Typically this is stainless steel, copper windings,
insulated and bare copper wire and other missed metal
recovery opportunities.

The Finder uses a sophisticated metal detection and air ejection system for all metal recovery from waste streams. In addition to producing a mixed all metal flow, the Finder can also be configured to “scalp” Stainless Steel from a material flow. This allows maximization of profits while at the same time, landfill and transportation costs are minimized.

Electronic Scrap processors are discovering the value of a Finder instead of an Eddy Current Separator. Eddy Current Separators cannot recover Stainless Steel and are limited in tuning options for recovery.

E-Scrap processors are using Finders tuned for:

  • STEP 1: All metal recovery (including Stainless Steel).
  • STEP 2: Rerun all metal recovery to split metals from circuit boards/insulated copper wire.
